The CARER Cancer Risk Assessment Scale is presented as a simple, user-friendly questionnaire that takes just minutes to complete, thereby making it accessible to all.
The heart of CARER’s Cancer Risk Assessment Scale is its risk scoring methodology, which includes analysis of user information across 15 parameters using a multi-variate scoring system that takes into account the interplay of various factors and the influence of one or more factors on the risk score. This assessment is then whetted by expert clinicians before being translated into an individual’s cancer risk score.
Depending on whether the risk score is low, moderate, or high, CARER then makes available customised counselling and expert therapy to help manage and lower one’s risk of cancer.
These follow-up sessions are between one and six months long, depending on the risk level. It is advisable to take the CARER Cancer Risk Assessment periodically, as one’s cancer risk is likely to change over time and due to the interplay of one or more of the 15 parameters.
